Saturday was a very busy day at PPO. The Guest Team Miramar did dominate by 2 games. They won 6U, 9U, 11U, 12U and 13U by default. The 13 U game got a very late start.  They started playing around 9:30 PM and then eventually the lights went out at close to midnight, so the game was cut short due to the lights going out. So it appears that the fourth quarter is just a lost quarter. There’s no plans to finish the game so by default the win goes to Miramar who had a 25-2 lead.

What's fair is fair and I really think that they should’ve scheduled to finish the game because in football a lot of things can happen in a quarter. A win could have been within reach for PPO. I feel bad for them not being able to get a fair chance but this is the way the ball bounces sometimes.

Don't you boys give up, and keep giving your all!! I encourage the boys from both sides to stay focused, prepare physically and mentally for the rest of the season.  We still have a long way to go and things can change.  Always keep your best foot forward, strive to play your positions to your fullest potentials, be a team player, and always encourage each other because positive energy can take you a long way.  I know winning is very important but enjoying the game is even more important and as long as you improve every game, you are putting yourselves in better positions to compete and win.
